I have not been able to find a source or any information on that matter for passenger ship lists leaving the US to other ports of call. The mystery I am trying to solve for a friend is a tombstone located in Granada, Nicaragua. The lady in question is Miss. Edith Robinson who died in April 1888 of yellow fever. She was a school teacher in Granada, Nicaragua at her time of death. To narrow down who she was, I had been searching for ship lists of passengers leaving the US for Limon, Costa Rica. Costa Rica was a major immigration port for central america at that time. Bluefied, Nicaragua is also a possiblity. Since the school she was teaching at was founded in 1882. I am searching for passenger lists from 1882-1888. Do lists such as these exist?
thanks
cindy
